6 Pack Abs Workout
If you have ever wondered why your abs never look quite the way you want them to, then perhaps
you haven't been using the proper 6 pack abs workout to get results. You cannot depend on diet alone to
develop a 6 pack. You'll need to burn off the fat you have, and make sure not to eat a lot of fatty or oily
foods, but you'll also need regular exercise of your abdominal muscles to get a 6 pack. Don't waste your time
doing exercises that won't give you the results you want.
If you don't need to lose weight, you'll be able to
focus more on your abdominal exercises and strength training. If you need to shed some pounds to see your abs,
add more strenuous cardio work, and watch your diet even more carefully.

You can lose more body fat faster by doing interval
training. You can do these cardiovascular exercises three or four days each week, in thirty to forty minute
sessions.
You'll also want to make sure that your form is
correct when you do your abdominal exercises. Use the right technique, and remember that fewer reps done
correctly makes for a more effective 6 pack abs workout than more reps done with improper technique. Do a
variety of targeted abdominal muscle exercises, to build up your core.
Your diet is an important part of your total plan for
6 pack abs, too. A diet that is low in fat and nutritious as well will help you tone your core and build a
flatter stomach.
To get ripped abs, you'll want to use a 6 pack abs
workout that targets the abdominal muscles with specific exercises, too. Once your body fat is lower than ten
percent or so, you can more easily work on building abdominal muscles that you can show off. The targeted ab
exercises will target all four of the major muscle groups, and you may wish to use an exercise ball for these
workouts. If you don't want to use a ball, you can just lie on your exercise bench.
The cardio part of your 6 pack abs workout plan is
important, too. You will use an aerobic exercise routine that will burn fat faster. Interval routines will help
in burning fat, so that your abdominal muscles will be more visible.
If you think you can get 6 pack abs by using only
sit-ups and crunches, you will be sorely disappointed. It doesn't matter how many crunches you do if your abs
are covered with fat – you won't be able to see them. Cardio work will help in burning off excess
fat.
In working out with cardiovascular exercises, warm up
first and then work for 20-40 minutes, to burn fat. Use intervals of one to three minutes of these high
intensity exercises and rest and recover for one to three minutes in between them. You can complete the
cardiovascular session of your 6 pack abs workout with a session of five minutes or so, as a cool-down. This
gives your heart rate a chance to return to normal levels. Don't work until you're dizzy – this means you're not
cooling down enough.
